Description: In the continually evolving and highly competitive telecommunications and software industries, each employee is challenged to perform at peak levels, to constantly improve and adapt, and to work in a cooperative--teaming environment. The unique purpose for the Sales Manager will be to lead a sales force in the selling of our communication products and to increase revenue by maximizing the penetration of target market segments. We will accomplish this goal through commitment to our employees, our real estate partners, and to high quality service delivery to our customers. Position Duties-- The Sales Manager is responsible for managing the effective penetration of sales to prospective customers into a specified market that will be comprised of partnered real estate buildings and off-net opportunities consistent with our target areas. The SM will be required to: · Manage a defined territory or market with 5-10 direct reporting employees · Build relationships with property leasing management and portfolio senior management · Coach and teach sales techniques to sales team · Participate in on-going education as pertaining to our evolving product set · Foster a team atmosphere with Sale Engineers, Sales Engineer Manager, Sr. Sales Management, and Channel Representatives Essential Functions To be successful in the role of Sales Manager, the employee will minimally, need to perform the following position functions: · Recruit high quality sales candidates · Accurately complete sales tracking documents and service agreement contracts · Set appointments with ‘cold’ prospects in target properties · Organize and conduct sales meetings and executive level presentations · Manage team revenue attainment as to meet 100% of required objectives · Close high-end / high profile sales
